New Jersey Motorsports Park hosted the finale of the Bitlook Virtual Drift World Series. 52 cyber drivers from all over the world gathered for the final race of the season, but the main confrontation was between two Ukrainians.
At first glance the section of the NJMP track seems simple, but it has its subtleties that not all participants managed to figure out.

This is the fourth round of the season where the best of the best is determined based on the results of all rounds.
From round to round competitors accumulate points which are scored both for tandems and qualifying. The winner of the season is the driver who scores the most points.
The sum of the points of the best two team representatives from each separate round is taken into account in the team standings. Thus, the balance between the teams is maintained and there is no need to limit the number of team members.
So, back to the points. In qualifying the driver have 2 attempts where the judges award points. The qualification rating based on the best run. In case of the same number of points for the best run, the worst one is taken into account.

The points distribution in the qualification is:
P1 - 7 points, P2 - 6, P3 - 5, P4-P8 - 4, P9-P16 - 3, P17-P32 - 2 points. Participants who placed P33 and below do not pass to the tandem battles and receive 1 point for the attendance.
The winner of the final round qualification became Keisuke Fujii from Japan, who scored 96 points out of 100 possible.

Tandem battles are the main part of the competition. They go through the Olympic single elimination system.
Duelists are determined by qualification according to the "best vs. worst" principle, i.e. P1 vs. P32, P2 vs. P31, P3 vs. P30, etc.
Points are distributed by to the bracket according to elimination:
Top-32 - 16 points, Top-16 - 32 points, Top-8 - 48 points, 4th place - 60, 3rd place - 70, 2nd place - 80, 1st place - 100 points.
For a single round the driver can score 107 points max. In case if he wins both, the qualification and tandems. Such a result is called a "Golden Double".
The intrigue of the Bitlook Virtual Drift 2024 season lasted until the finale. Both contenders for the title, Artem Chulkov and Alexander Element, passed opponent after opponent and met in the final.
The competition was very tight, but qualified judges analyzed the runs in detail and determined the winner.

According to the results of the season, the Ukrainian Alexander Element wins in the drivers ranking, and the Ukrainian team Newbie Drifters becomes the best team.
The prize pool of the season was $350 and it was spread among the drivers up to 20th place overall.
