A Message from the Founder
VOSAN has been making fast-paced changes to the site this year — from our initial website update bringing the community a massive improvement in style, design, and functionality, to all of the new features added since. A huge shout out to Alisson Birck who provided us with a fantastic new direction for our style and look, which has led to what you all see today.
Our Community, Our Foundation
We wouldn't be anywhere without the community. We are simply a middle man — without the creators and the drivers, we would be nothing. We know this, and you should know this.
Our focus has always been on providing value to creators and the community. We have always had a strong passion for growing Sim Drifting as a whole, supporting everyone involved:
- Mod creators
- Livery designers
- Events
- Drivers
- Teams and communities
We have always listened to the community and provided updates based on the feedback we receive. Sometimes we miss the mark, sometimes we hit a bullseye — and that's fine. We're all about learning, growing, making mistakes, and fixing where we went wrong. Everybody makes a wrong turn at some point in the journey, and that's part of the fun: getting a little lost and finding our way back on track.
Zero Ads
Today, there are ZERO ads for registered users with a FREE VOSAN account. For logged-out guests, the number of ads has been drastically reduced. This will eventually be ZERO ads for all platform users — guests and logged-in users alike.
We have never been fans of ads as our primary funding source. With all of our newly added features this year, we can finally start moving away from them. This has been the plan for a long, long time — but getting here took a lot of work and studying.
The Sales Portal
We plan to fund the platform without ads by utilising our new Sales Portal — giving creators the ability to sell their work directly. This:
- Creates real value for creators, letting them earn from their skills and hard work.
- Makes it easier and safer for buyers to purchase mods in a trusted environment — no scammers, only legitimate creators, with VOSAN as the mediator ensuring a smooth transaction.
What Creators Can Sell

We have enabled all of these selling options to match multiple marketplace platforms creators already use — creating a unified location where everything happens.
Global Audience & Translation Support
VOSAN has always supported creators and events from many different locations around the world. Because of this, we would often get asked to add translations to the site — and this year, we did just that.
We added translation support for 20 languages, covering the most popular locations of our platform users. This doesn't just translate VOSAN's hard-coded interface text — it also translates user-generated content. Post in English, and someone in Japan can read your post in Japanese.

It's been a real honour to serve communities all around the world and work with people from many different backgrounds. Communication has been a challenge at times, but we always made things work. We hope this addition makes life on VOSAN significantly better for our international users.
Video on VOSAN
We have expanded our media capabilities by allowing creators, partners, and VOSAN+ Members to post videos directly to the VOSAN platform. This is something we have wanted to add for a long time, and it required significant work to execute properly.
What's Under the Hood
- Auto transcoding — lower quality versions are generated automatically for users on slower connections
- Thumbnail images — auto-generated for every upload
- Smart formatting — automatic adjustments for both vertical and horizontal videos
We're very happy with how this feature turned out. It's also a significant step toward allowing our event partners to host their livestreams directly on their event profiles — something we're excited to bring to the platform in the future.
The Event Manager
Our newest addition to the site is the VOSAN Event Manager — a tool years in the making. It allows our event partners to host full, professional Drift Competitions entirely on the VOSAN platform.

With so many features, it's genuinely hard for a small team to release everything at 100% perfection. When we push updates to 100,000+ users, we almost always find something that was missed during development and testing. That's just the reality of building at this scale with the team we have.
