Atomic Light Tuner (ALT) v0.3.0 — Underglow & Custom Car Lighting
Atomic Light Tuner is a lighting app I'm building alongside Atomic Drift Tuner (ADT). It lets you change your car's underglow, headlights, taillights, and interior lighting from inside Assetto Corsa, with separate controls for each area.
Set up a solid color, dial in a subtle glow, or use pulse, strobe, double strobe, alternating colors, rainbow cycle, or rainbow flow. Adjust colors, brightness, and speed while you work, then save the setup for that car.
- **Underglow controls:** Adjust power, spread, width, length, and placement.
- **Headlights and taillights:** Position custom beams and select the lamp meshes you want to recolor. Includes a lamp scan and manual selection.
- **Interior lighting:** Four individually positioned cabin lights, each with an enable switch.
- **Placement tools:** Markers, sliders, and draggable arrows for positioning lights while parked.
- **Color controls:** Full color picker and optional brightness balancing between colors.
- **Saved setups:** Up to 24 named presets per car, plus automatic saving of your current setup.
- **Profile sharing:** Copy a setup to the clipboard and import it on another installation using the same car.
ALT runs independently; you don't need ADT installed to use it.
Built for **Assetto Corsa on PC with Custom Shaders Patch**, using **CSP 0.3.0-preview542** as the development baseline.
To install, close your driving session and extract `AtomicLightTuner-0.3.0.zip` into your Assetto Corsa installation folder. The app should be located at `apps/lua/S14Lighting`. Start a session, open **Atomic Light Tuner** from the app list, and enable custom lighting. A night session makes initial setup easier. If you're updating from Lighting Studio, use the same folder to retain your settings and presets.
**This is an early release.** Core lighting has been confirmed on the BDC Street v4 S14. Compatibility with additional cars and the new placement controls is still being tested. Some cars need manual placement or lamp selection. Interior lighting adds illumination, not physical LED-strip models.
**Effects are visible only on your own PC and are not synchronized with other players.**
